Logging In

The web interface supports connections using the HTTP and HTTPS protocols. Use the URL, user name, and password provided to you by your system administrator.

To view the latest help files, clear the browser cache before you log in.

User Passwords

If your administrator has configured integration with User Management Service (UMS) for central management of user accounts, you can change your login password through the Settings control in the ACS GUI.

When your password expires in UMS, you are prompted to change your password on your next log in attempt. You must supply the old password and the new password.

UMS administrators can also create or reset passwords with a standard password and force users to change their password on the next log in attempt.

Note: Administrators can use the AC Import Tool, installed with UMS, to batch create user accounts and passwords. For more information, refer to the AC Import Tool user's guide.
